Esperanza Education Fund’s core mission is to provide scholarships for some of the DMV’s most deserving students. And as a scholarship-awarding organization, our primary duty and commitment to our Scholars and donors is to remain financially healthy and fiscally responsible.

The Esperanza Education Fund celebrates 17 years of awarding immigrant students in the DMV scholarships.

On average, 93% of our revenue comes from the generosity of individual donor contributions. The other 7% typically comes from corporate contributions.
More than 80% of our annual budget directly supports scholarship awards and the wraparound programs and services that help our Scholars feel supported and overcome obstacles on their academic journeys.
