Our Stories: Maria Beltrán, Mentor

A Los Angeles native, Maria is a first-generation college graduate that holds a B.A. in global and international studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Maria also holds a masters in intercultural and international communication from American University, where she was elected as the vice president of communication for the graduate student government to represent the more than 3,500 graduate students.

Maria is a Senior Account Executive at Spitfire Strategies, a public interest public relations firm. She works to connect clients with the strategies and tools to advance their progressive goals.
