Our Stories: Claire Alexander, Volunteer

Claire Alexander, Volunteer, was introduced to Esperanza in 2010, and helped the founding leadership team codify Esperanza’s core beliefs, prepare for expansion, and develop the organization’s strategic decision-making capabilities. She continues to be impressed by Esperanza’s clarity of purpose and impact in the lives of both scholars and volunteers.

A DC native, Claire is currently Group Vice President at Gartner, and General Manager of Capterra. She holds an A.B. from Harvard and and MBA from The Stanford Graduate School of Business.

“Each class of scholars is more amazing than the last, and the same can be said for the volunteers. I’m grateful to be a part of this focused, big-hearted community that truly makes a difference.”
