Chithalina Coleman is an Education Consultant with over 11 years of education advocacy experience at the state, local, and federal level. A native Californian, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Berkeley. After a brief stint serving at a corporate law firm, she relocated to Washington, DC to earn a Master’s Degree in Special Education from The George Washington University while teaching full-time for the District of Columbia Public Schools. Chithalina’s dynamic classroom experience includes serving as both a resource and inclusion teacher— a background that affords her a competitive advantage when advocating on behalf of her clients with Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and State Education Agencies (SEAs). She has also served as a school administrator at one of DC’s first premier Learning Disability (LD) school. In addition to founding her own company, Chithalina helped to co-found a successful special education law firm in Washington, DC where she mostly focused on Due Process Litigation, and testifying in court as a subject matter expert. Chithalina volunteers with numerous charitable organizations and resides in Southern MD with her husband and young son.
