All immigrants deserve an education and help reaching their full potential, regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status.
We believe that all students should have access to higher education, no matter where they came from or how they got here.
Students who outperform expectations and achieve more with less should get a helping hand.
“Merit” can be measured by not only academic and extracurricular achievement, but also the hard work, resourcefulness, and perseverance necessary to overcome obstacles unique to the immigrant experience. Often lacking the head starts or shortcuts their peers enjoy, our scholars outperform expectations and achieve more with less.
The investment of time, in concert with capital investment, makes a long-lasting impact on our scholars.
Our scholarship awards are large enough to meet virtually all of our scholars’ financial needs. Along with the $5,000-$20,000 financial award, our scholars participate in a mentorship program that connects them to the academic and professional networks they will need to navigate college, find internships, and start careers.
Work should be fun and fulfilling.
Our volunteers and donors make lasting friendships with like-minded peers, and develop professional connections and leadership skills through volunteerism and philanthropy. We aim to make our fundraising and social events fun and fresh, usually by featuring the music or art of young immigrants.
Engaging members makes us stronger, and we are always open to change.
We treat our volunteers, donors, and scholars as stakeholders in our organization. Our Board and Committee meetings are open to anyone interested, and we are receptive to new ideas for achieving our mission.
Help us continue to provide hope through education for all immigrant students. Make a much-needed contribution today.
